Terms of sale
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter referred to as the “Terms and Conditions of Sale”) govern the sale of products made through the JLT website (hereinafter referred to as the “Site”).

Article 2 – Products
The products offered for sale are candles made in small batches.
The essential characteristics of the products are described on the Site.
Photographs are provided for illustrative purposes only and are not contractually binding.
Article 3 – Prices
Prices are indicated in euros (€), including all applicable taxes.
In accordance with Article 293B of the French General Tax Code, VAT is not applicable.
JLT reserves the right to change its prices at any time.
Products are invoiced at the price in effect at the time the order is confirmed.
Article 4 – Orders
Any order placed on the Site implies full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions of Sale.
An order confirmation is sent by email once payment has been validated.
JLT reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order in the event of an existing dispute with the customer.
Article 5 – Payment
Payment is due immediately when the order is placed.
Payments are made using the secure payment methods offered on the Site.
Article 6 – Delivery
Products are delivered to the address provided by the customer when placing the order.
Delivery is available:
– to a collection point,
– and to the customer’s home address.
Delivery times are provided for information purposes only.
JLT cannot be held responsible for delays attributable to the carrier.
Article 7 – Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with Article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code, the customer has fourteen (14) days from receipt of the order to exercise their right of withdrawal.
Products must be returned:
– unused,
– unlit,
– in their original condition and packaging.
Return shipping costs are borne by the customer.
Article 8 – Refunds
After receipt and inspection of the returned products, JLT will refund the product concerned, excluding delivery costs.
The refund will be made using the same payment method used for the order, within a maximum period of fourteen (14) days.
Article 9 – Defective or Damaged Products
If a product is defective or damaged upon receipt, the customer is invited to contact JLT as soon as possible at the following address: contact@jlt-bougies.fr
An appropriate solution will be offered (replacement or refund).
Article 10 – Customer Service – Complaints
For any questions relating to an order, a product or its use, the customer may contact JLT by email at the following address: contact@jlt-bougies.fr
Requests are processed as quickly as possible, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.
To ensure accurate and efficient handling of requests, contact by email is preferred.
Article 11 – Liability
JLT cannot be held liable for indirect damage resulting from the use of the products sold.
Article 12 – Intellectual Property
All elements of the Site (texts, images, visuals, logo and brand identity) are the exclusive property of JLT.
Any reproduction or use without authorisation is prohibited.
Article 13 – Personal Data
Personal data collected when an order is placed is necessary for the management of transactions and the commercial relationship.
Personal data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy available on the Site.
Article 14 – Consumer Mediation
In accordance with Articles L612-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the customer has the right to use a consumer mediator free of charge in order to seek an amicable resolution of a dispute.

Article 15 – Applicable Law
These Terms and Conditions of Sale are governed by French law.
In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought before any legal proceedings are initiated.
